“I have been a part of Detroit Enterprise Academy since its opening four years ago. This year, I am teaching 8th grade which is a big change from my three years as a second grade teacher! It's hard to believe that so much time has passed! Over the years, I have observed many positive changes. Teaching at Detroit Enterprise Academy is a real pleasure for several reasons including the relationships that we are able to create with parents. I feel fortunate to actually know someone from each of my students' families. The relationships that teachers are able to create with parents are remarkable. In addition to the supportive parents, I consider myself lucky to be a part of a great team of professionals. Detroit Enterprise Academy is a school that focuses on helping each child to achieve...I feel I am in the right place for that very reason."

“My name is Nicole Williams and this is my fourth year teaching at Detroit Enterprise Academy. I really enjoy teaching here because of the commitment from the staff and parents. The biggest contribution that I would like to offer to DEA is my creativity and loyalty to our students. Teamwork makes the dream work!"

2nd Grade Teacher
“I have been working at Detroit Enterprise Academy for three years. What I enjoy about teaching is using my creativity to impart knowledge upon our students so that they can achieve. I help to provide extra support for our wonderful teachers and give encouragement to our students. At the drop of a dime I am willing to roll up my sleeves and get into a classroom to help our students achieve higher heights and deeper depths and assist our teachers in becoming some of the best professionals in NHA."
